PLEASE NOTE: There Will Be NO PICNIC This Summer. Once Every Five Years We Honor Members With 25 Or More Years Of Service With A Service Award Event. The Local #86 Service Award Luncheon Is Scheduled For Saturday, July 26, 2025 At The Sea-Tac Doubletree Hotel. The Luncheon Will Be Held From 1:00 To 3:00 P.M. Honored Members And A Guest Will Be Be Mailed Invitations With RSVP Cards To Return To The Local. *For Those Of You Who Do Not Have 25 Years Continuous Service, There May Be A Limited Amount Of Tickets Available For Sale At A Later Date.

Local 86 Participated This Year As A Toy Donation Drop Site For Toys For Tots. Toy Donation Total Was 674 Toys And 8 Balance Bikes!! Thank You To Everyone Who Donated To This Wonderful Cause.

Congratulations To Heather Kurtenbach On Her New Position As The Executive Secretary Of Washington State Building And Construction Trades Council. It Has Been A Privilege To Have Heather On Iron Workers Local 86’s Team For The Last 5+ Years As Business Agent/Organizer And Political Director. We Wish Her All The Best In This New Role. We Know She Will Work Tirelessly For The Building Trades And For The Future Of Workers’ Rights.
